How we collect, use, store and disclose personal information.

Who we are
Sasal Ventures Pty Ltd (ABN 43 700 903 046), a registered BAS agent operating in Australia. In this notice, "we" and "us" mean Sasal Ventures Pty Ltd.
What we collect
Through this website, only what you type into the enquiry form: your name, business name, email address, phone number if you give it, the service you selected, and the content of your message. Our web host records standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and reliability.
In the course of providing bookkeeping, payroll and BAS services we handle considerably more — including employee records, tax file numbers, superannuation details and financial records. That information is collected from you or your staff under our engagement terms, not through this website, and it is governed by those terms together with our obligations as a registered agent.
Why we collect it
- To answer your enquiry and, if you engage us, to provide the services
- To meet our obligations to the ATO, the Tax Practitioners Board and other regulators
- To keep records for the periods Australian law requires
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use enquiry details for marketing unrelated to your enquiry.
Who we share it with
Only where it is necessary to deliver the service or where the law requires it. That can include the Australian Taxation Office, your nominated tax agent, superannuation clearing houses, and the software providers that host your ledger and payroll. Enquiries submitted through this site are emailed to us directly by our own web host. No third-party form service receives or stores them.
Where it is stored
Client accounting records are held in the platforms we operate in — principally Xero — under your subscription. Some of these providers store data outside Australia. [CONFIRM: list your actual providers, and whether any data is held offshore.]
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising scripts. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers when a page loads. [UPDATE if you later add analytics or a booking widget.]
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete anything we are not legally required to keep. Write to info@sasalventures.com.au and we will respond within a reasonable period.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled a privacy matter, you can raise it with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

We update this notice when our practices change. The current version is always the one published here.
